Judy Smith wanted to do the right thing for her children by ensuring their dental health care needs were met. However, "Xavier was scared of the dentist and my younger daughter, Simone, had become scared of the dentist too", stated Smith. Smith was thrilled when she learned about Kool Smiles. "I received a flyer in the community along with multiple direct mail pieces and thought I would give it a try.", she stated.

Smith's first trip to the Hampton office in June 2007, was enough to convince her that she had indeed made the right decision to visit Kool Smiles. When she entered the office, the staff immediately made her , Xavier and Simone feel comfortable. " The staff are very friendly. They spoke to my children on their level and were very calming and the jungle gym allowed the children to be distracted and have fun while waiting for their appointment.", stated Smith.

Xavier, who loves his chocolate and candy, presented with multiple cavities. Ms. Smith was worried for him to have the needed treatment done since Xavier's past dental experiences had ended in hysterics. To Ms. Smith's surprise, Xavier not only didn't cry, but was happy leaving the dentist. "That is unbelievable!", exclaimed Smith.

Ms. Smith has been so happy with her Kool Smiles experience that she has been telling her friends and family all about it. "Xavier and Simone come to Kool Smiles every 6 months and each time we have had the same experience, without an issue.", stated Smith. When asked if there was anything Kool Smiles could do to make her children's dental experience more enjoyable, Smith quickly answered, "Not a thing. Keep up the great work!"
