Kool Smiles provides quality care to children and adults. All of our dentists are carefully selected and have earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from a dental school which is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. All of our dentists hold a state license to practice dentistry and have demonstrated a great interest in promoting good oral health in the communities that we serve.

Upon joining the Kool Smiles team, each dentist is given several weeks of both clinical and classroom training in current evidence-based treatments and the Kool Smiles mission. The services provided by our dentists are evaluated regularly to assure that the quality meets or exceeds the Kool Smiles treatment guidelines and meets all federal and local standards. Each dentist also undergoes a semi-annual audit of their treatment records and a review by the Chief Dental Officer. Furthermore, treatment audits of each office are performed on a regular schedule. Our dentists attend quarterly Kool Smiles Professional Staff Meetings at which professional issues are discussed and continuing education is provided.

Kool Smiles offices are all spacious and decorated in a "kid-friendly" manner with bright colors and interesting graphics. Our equipment is state of the art and allows the dentists to provide care for children and adults in the most advanced and efficient method. Kool Smiles utilizes restorative and preventive methods and procedures that are both safe and effective and provide the most durable and long lasting results. We also use both a "paperless" electronic health record system and digital radiographs to more effectively show yours or your child's oral health needs.

At Kool Smiles, quality care is our number one priority and we have adopted the treatment guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as our benchmark for quality for children. Using these guidelines, we have identified key measurements of quality which are reviewed weekly by the Chief Dental Office and the Vice President for Quality. If at any time a dentist has any questions or concerns, there is a "hotline" available for them to contact a senior official, and electronic health records allow dentists to do peer reviews to provide a second opinion on complex cases.
