Kool Smiles also works closely with local school systems and day care centers in our communities to provide oral health outreach and education to all children. We conduct free dental screenings and provide each parent with a Result Form detailing any oral health issues we may have detected. Each parent receives the information they need to schedule an appointment with us to address any potential problems we have encountered.
In addition, we also provide free educational workshops on oral health. We present these to both children and parent and various forums. These presentations provide the children and parents with demonstrations on how to properly take care of the child's teeth, including proper brushing and flossing techniques. The children's presentations include a video on oral health and general health education, as well. We also provide written educational information to the child and parent to encourage continued use of the proper techniques to maintain the child's oral health.
